Autumn Quest

At this year's Autumn Quest began on Friday night in Grand Rapids where we feasted on chicken wild rice soup and shredded beef sandwiches loving made for us by Bird and enjoyed by all in the party room of the GR Super 8. The evening progressed with laughter and coversation before we all retired to rest up for the ride the next day. At ten the next mornig we suited up for rain and headed out of Grand Rapids over backroads to Ely, following US 1 and down to Two Harbors before skirting the shore of Lake Superior through Duluth and into Cloquet for the Saturday night festivities. The route this year was the best ever enjoyed by the AQ participants. The expected rain never materialized and the fall colors were spectacular! Thanks, once again, Zots and Bird for a great time! |
